Why NO FALLS WEEK matters

Falls from heights are consistently the leading cause of workplace fatalities in the U.K.

The latest figures from the HSE show that 50 people lost their lives at work due to a fall from height in 2023/24.

Falls from height were responsible for 36% of all workplace deaths (this proportion was 25% in 2021/22, rising to 30% in 2022/23).
